It was another exciting week of NFL action featuring plenty of incredible plays made by legendary former Alabama football players.

From big-time catches to angry runs to interceptions to sacks or even pancake blocks, twe'll bring you the best of the best every week of the NFL season.

Week 4 in the NFL was the whipped cream on the ice cream sundae following Alabama's 24-21 win over Georgia.

The best plays of Week 4 from former Alabama football stars

Cam Latu blocks a punt for the Eagles

It's nice to see Cam Latu healthy again. The Eagles tight end made this list in Week 2 thanks to a devastating block. This week, he makes it thanks to his first career blocked punt, which led to Sydney Brown returning it for a touchdown and Philly taking an early 7-0 lead in what turned out to be a close win over the Buccaneers.

It's little things like that that will allow Latu to stick around in the league.

Jihaad Campbell makes his first career interception

Later in the Eagles' win over Tampa Bay, rookie LB Jihaad Campbell made a first-quarter interception in the endzone to turn the Bucs away and preserve an eight-point lead. It was a baffling decision by Baker Mayfield, and Campbell took advantage by making the play that was there to be made.

Campbell has, predictably, been an impact player for the defending Super Bowl champions as a rookie. How the rest of the league allowed him to slip down near the end of the first round and end up in Philadelphia will forever be a mystery.

Jahmyr Gibbs punches in another TD in Lions rout of Browns

Jahmyr Gibbs is off to a strong start to his third season in the NFL, and the Lions are utilizing him as a clear RB1, with David Montgomery used to spell him. Against Cleveland on Sunday, Gibbs rushed for 91 yards on 15 carries and scored a first-quarter touchdown. Gibbs' rushing performance was the best by any RB against Cleveland's stout front this season.

His touchdown answered the Browns' opening drive score, tying the game and kicking off what turned into a blowout victory for Detroit:

Josh Jacobs punches in an 18-yard TD for his second of the day in Green Bay's tie

Sunday Night Football ended up being pretty anti-climactic. The Packers and Cowboys went to overtime and battled to a 40-40 tie.

Josh Jacobs did what he could to lead Green Bay to victory, punching in two touchdowns and totaling 157 yards from scrimmage on 26 touchdowns. His second touchdown was the most impressive, punching it in from 18 yards out:

Tua Tagovailoa fires a touchdown pass on 4th down

On Monday Night Football, desperately needing a win, Mike McDaniel made a gusty call on 4th and goal in the first half with the Dolphins leading just 3-0. He trusted his QB and Tua Tagovailoa delivered, throwing a strike in the back of the endzone to Darren Waller for a touchdown:

Tagoavailoa threw a second touchdown pass to Waller later as the Dolphins beat the Jets 27-21 for their first win of the season.
