Look away, Bama fans, because the red confetti is raining down at the SEC Championship game, and it isn't for the Crimson Tide. The Georgia Bulldogs are SEC Champions yet again as Alabama falls 28-7 in a game that was never really that close.

Alabama was dealt some tough blows in this game, but nothing was bigger than not having running back Jam Miller at all against the Bulldogs. The Crimson Tide had a total of -3 rushing yards against Georgia, which means yes, you who are reading this story had more rushing yards against Georgia in the SEC Championship.

Georgia's defense was stifling against Alabama both in the run game and the passing game. The Bulldogs were all over Bama quarterback Ty Simpson, who just never looked comfortable in the pocket throwing with ball. Without much of a run game, the game was put in Simpson's hands, and he wasn't able to handle it.

Alabama fans can't believe this rushing stat vs. Georgia in the SEC Championship game

Alabama really could have used starting running back Jam Miller against Georgia in the SEC Championship. Miller this season has 493 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns as the Crimson Tide's leading rusher.

While that doesn't seem like a lot of yards, he is still the lead back for this team, and he could have been a difference maker in the SEC Championship. Alabama fans couldn't believe that the Crimson Tide rushed for negative yards for just the second time in program history, and it couldn't have come at a worse time.

That total held as after a 4th and 10 play in the red zone amounted to a turnover on downs, Alabama never possessed the ball again to try and get out of the basement when it came to rushing yards.

Yup, you read that correctly, you didn't even suit up and just sat on your couch watching the game, and you rushed for more yards.

Congratulations to this person, who also have more rushing yards than Alabama.

This is just an embarrassing stat altogether, and this is exactly what Alabama didn't need when it comes to the College Football Playoff committee deciding who to put in.
