There is no sugarcoating Alabama's loss to Florida on Sunday. The Crimson Tide simply were outplayed, and the Gators were the better team that day. However, that doesn't mean the Gators were perfect, just as they haven't been all season.
Coaches are always allowed to make comments on other teams. Alabama head coach Nate Oats made a comment, feeling like Florida's bigs like to hang out in the paint too long and should be called on the three-second rule more often. Apparently, that comment stuck in the head of Florida head coach Todd Golden as he had a tasteless troll job of Oats after the Gators' 100-77 win.
"To come out and impose our will the way we did and beat them on the glass. We scored 72 points in the paint," Golden said. "I thought our guys were in there for one second, two seconds, then we scored, so taking advantage of our catches down there. The bigs were really, really good today."
Todd Golden fires back 😂😳

Someone should tell Golden that his team got the win and to take it with grace instead of throwing shade at the losing team's coach. If he can't handle another coach making a comment about how his team plays, then maybe he shouldn't be making comments either.
It was simply a pathetic look from Golden after his team got the win. It is impressive that the Gators were able to score 72 points in the paint, and it just shows that Alabama needs to have better defense inside as well.
After all the fire that Alabama has been under with Charles Bediako coming back, this loss certainly wasn't great for the Tide, who just recently dropped out of the AP Top 25 rankings. Alabama has some serious work to do in order to get back into a good place with March Madness bracket predictions.
