It's that time of the week. Time to make bold predictions that will no doubt be correct for Alabama against Georgia this Saturday.

For each game, we'll make three bold predictions for Alabama. Two weeks ago for Wisconsin, two of the three predictions came true.

We correctly identified it as Ryan Williams' breakout performance: he ended up catching five passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

We also correctly predicted that Alabama's defense would produce multiple sacks despite coming into the game with only one on the season. The Tide sacked Wisconsin QB Danny O'Neil four times.

We were wrong, however, in projecting the running game to get going. We said Alabama would rush for 120+ yards. They finished with only 72.

Two out of three ain't bad, but it ain't perfect. Let's be perfect this week.

3 Bold Predictions for Alabama football vs. Georgia

Ty Simpson finishes the game as one of the Heisman favorites

People are beginning to take note of Ty Simpson after consecutive virtuoso performances in Alabama's wins over UL Monroe and Wisconsin. The ball has barely touched the ground in the last two games: Simpson has completed 41 of his last 46 pass attempts, including a perfect 17-of-17 against UL Monroe. And of those five incompletions, two of them were outright drops by Ryan Williams and Lotzeir Brooks.

Simpson is still flying under the radar a bit in Heisman Trophy odds. He represents pretty tremendous value right now at +2000 on FanDuel, which is just the 12th-best betting odds. If Alabama walks into Athens on Saturday night and beats Georgia with Simpson playing well, then you can bet his odds are going to spike significantly.

And Georgia's secondary looks ripe for the picking. The Bulldogs rank 97th in the country in EPA/per pass attempt defensively and 101st in pass defense success rate, per Game on Paper.

Lotzeir Brooks finds the endzone for his first career TD

Alabama's passing offense has been prolific thanks to Simpson's quick maturation and arguably the best WR room in college football. Georgia's gameplan in the secondary will start with Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard, but if they sell out to stop those two, it should lead to opportunities for both Isaiah Horton and freshman Lotzeir Brooks, who are functioning effectively as co-starters for the Crimson Tide.

Brooks has the goods. After not recording a reception against Florida State, the true freshman has produced six catches for 88 yards the last two games. It's only a matter of time before he reaches paydirt.

Ryan Grubb will look to isolate Brooks in the slot in a mismatch at some point and take a shot. Here's predicting that Simpson hits him on a shot play for a long touchdown pass.

Keon Sabb picks off Gunner Stockton

Two streaks are going to come to an end on Saturday night with one flick of the wrist by Georgia QB Gunner Stockton.

Stockton is going to throw his first interception of the season, and Keon Sabb is going to intercept him for his first pick since the first game of last season. Sabb intercepted two passes against Western Kentucky in his Crimson Tide debut in 2024, but has yet to register another interception.

But Sabb is playing good football. He has been playing fast and physical. His being healthy has provided a nice boost for Alabama in the secondary, and he and Bray Hubbard have been exactly what was advertised in the preseason the last couple of weeks.

The football gods tend to smile on you when you are consistently doing what you are supposed to be doing. That happened for Hubbard vs. Wisconsin. It's going to happen for Sabb against Georgia.
