He's on top of the world right now. What Ty Simpson continues to do on the gridiron is remarkable and he's a big reason why Alabama football is ranked No. 4 in the country. On Saturday night, Simpson and the Tide were far from perfect, but a 20-9 win was posted.
5 critical observations from Alabama's sloppy win over LSU
Despite that victory, Simpson knew Alabama wasn't at its best. However, he's still going to give himself 24 hours to celebrate in style, which included an incredible moment on the field between him and a pair of former Alabama playmakers.
Right after the final whistle and once he was done with some interviews, Simpson chased down both JC Latham and Tyler Booker who were back in Tuscaloosa for the Bama showdown with the Tigers. As you probably could have guessed, Simpson's former teammates were jacked up for him. Take a look for yourself:

Ty Simpson shared an awesome moment with JC Lathan and Tyler Booker after Bama beat LSU
Come on, that's just awesome. Simpson used whatever energy he had left to jog down the field and chase his buddies down. First up was Booker, who had Simpson jump on his back and then he gave him a massive bear hug.
Think the former Alabama lineman was happy for the Tide signal-caller? You better believe it. Simpson waited patiently for his time to take over the offense and this is something that everyone can appreciate, especially those who love the Tide.
In today's transfer portal landscape, the easy move for a QB is to just pack his bags and head elsewhere if he wants to see more playing time. Simpson surely could have made that kind of a move and been a starter years ago. However, that was never an option in his mind.
He wanted to stay with Alabama, prove his worth and fight for his spot. All that hard work and sacrifice paid off in the best way possible and now he has the Tide among the top-ranked teams in the nation. On top of that, people are dreaming of Bama pushing for a natty. Simpson has every right to enjoy big wins and those moments are made even more special for him with those who never stopped believing in him close by his side.
