ICYMI: Mouth of Breeland Speaks May Be Overloading Rebels’ Backside

Alabama Women’s Golf Earns No. 1 Seed at NCAA Shoal Creek Regional

(RollTide.com)

"The No. 1-ranked University of Alabama women’s golf team was awarded the top seed at the 2016 NCAA Shoal Creek Regional at the Shoal Creek Club in Shoal Creek, Ala., the NCAA announced Monday evening. The NCAA Shoal Creek Regional will be held on May 5-7 on the par-72, 6,470-yard layout. It is the 11th straight invitation to postseason competition for the Crimson Tide, which captured the program’s first NCAA Championship in 2012 at the Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn."

The ladies now know where they will begin their quest for a national championship. They already have the SEC Championship for this season and here is hoping that they can add one more trophy to the case before the season is over.

Department of Justice looks into NCAA satellite camp ban

(USA Today)

"The United States Department of Justice has begun an informal inquiry into the topic of satellite camps by calling college football coaches, conference commissioners and college administrators, two people with knowledge of the matter told USA TODAY Sports."

Lord, have mercy. Not to get too political, but I think there are some more pressing matters that they could concentrate on. If you have been following the site for at least a few weeks now, you know my feelings. To sum it up, this isn’t about helping kids. It’s because Coach Twitter Harbaugh is crying because he sees it as a chance to pull Michigan’s program from the depths of mediocrity.

Ole Miss Rebels ready to play favorites in the SEC

(ESPN)

"Ole Miss Rebels defensive lineman D.J. Jones speaks from the heart when he talks about the cultural shift taking place in the Rebels’ locker room. There’s no change in expression as he talks. No highs or lows in his voice. He’s all business, and he’s completely serious.“Work for a championship,” Jones said. “That’s pretty much it: work for a championship, a national championship, a playoff run.”"

I see this has already started for this season. This will be your over-hyped team for this year. Until they prove that they can’t choke coming down the back stretch of the year, I won’t put any stock into them. They are the Vanderbilt basketball of SEC football. That is to look good during the season and then choke when it matters. I can tell you one team that will be in the thick of the discussion and they reside in Tuscaloosa.
