ICYMI: Alabama Football | A-Day Lineup and Things To Do

It was a good day on the diamonds for both teams representing the Crimson Tide. Let’s take a look at the outcomes of those games from Tuesday night.

Baseball Outlasts UAB on Tuesday Evening, 7-6 (RollTide.com)

The Alabama Crimson Tide head a 6-2 lead until the seventh inning when the Blazers used a four-run frame to knot everything back up all square. Chandler Avant came up big in the eighth to deliver an RBI triple that scored what would eventually be the winning run for the Tide. Alabama will face Ole Miss in Tuscaloosa this weekend. Tickets for Saturday are already sold out and the last I had heard, Friday and Sunday tickets were at a minimal.

More from Bama Hammer

"Alabama (36-7) scored seven runs on just four hits, with just two of the seven runs going down as earned runs as a pair of fielding errors proved costly for Southern Miss (20-23). Reagan Dykes went 1-3 to extend her hitting streak to nine games, the longest for any Tide player this season, while Chandler Dare went 1-4 with two RBIs to push her own streak to six games. Peyton Grantham and Merris Schroder scored twice from the bottom of the order, each driving in a run as well."

Coach Patrick Murphy’s ladies are starting to get hot when it counts as the season starts to wind down. The Crimson Tide always seem to be in the hunt for conference and national title and this season looks like it won’t be too much difference. The Tide heads to College Station for a three-game series with the Texas A&M Aggies this weekend.

Alabama Football Recruiting Update – April 12, 2016 (Campus Insiders)

"A few weeks ago the rest of the SEC was ready to party when Alabama watched a trio of recruits decommit in a 48-hour window. Oh how the Tide has turned. Here’s a good rule of thumb when it comes to Alabama recruiting: never bet against the Crimson Tide as long as Nick Saban gets out of bed in the morning."

Here is a good rundown on recruiting from Campus Insiders. Over the past few years since Saban has been here, I haven’t worried about recruiting as much. We may have a surprise coming to help you keep updated with that part of Alabama football. Stay tuned.

They have already started dissecting which quarterback will get the call. This one is here for your pleasure. I think I’m going to wait a little while longer unless Twitter offensive coordinator breaks the news before Coach Saban.
