Happy Friday, Crimson Tide fans! This Father’s Day weekend, we’ve got potential baseball head coach info and free admission to the Bryant Museum for ya.

ICYMI: The SEC: One Big Dysfunctional Family

It’s not official yet, but very solid word on the street is that a press conference announcing the new Alabama Crimson Tide head baseball coach will happen today at 2:00pm. Paige Hockman, mother of Drew and Georgie Salem, tweeted the statement last night – and unlike most people on Twitter, her information is always accurate.

The head man on the diamond is said to be Greg Goff, who as of this minute is still the HC at Louisiana Tech. Goff has ties to the state of Alabama already, having coached the baseball team at the University of Montevallo from 2004-2007. He led the Falcons to their first-ever NCAA Division II College World Series and went 152-84 in his four years there. When we get the official statement from the University, BamaHammer will make sure you are among the first to know.

Also, just as an added bonus, the Bryant Museum in Tuscaloosa is offering free admission this Sunday. The museum honoring the late coach Paul “Bear” Bryant will be open normal business hours Father’s Day, but will not be charging any fees to visit. Be sure to stop by, and take your dad if you can.
