Former Alabama football players will continue the Tide’s decade-long NFL Draft dominance. Check out the latest Mock Draft information for 15 former Tiders.

Over the last 10 NFL Drafts, Alabama football has dominated. From 2008-2017, 65 former Crimson Tide players have been drafted, 22 of them in the first round. How impressive are those numbers? In 2008, no Alabama football players were drafted.

The subsequent nine years of Crimson Tide first-rounders blows away the ten-year records of the next closest teams. Florida and Ohio State had 14 first round selections. USC had 13, LSU 11, FSU and TAMU had nine, followed by Clemson and North Carolina with eight.

More from Bama Hammer

In the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft, four or five former Alabama football players are expected to be drafted in the first round. Four will tie the Alabama team record and five would break it. Somewhere between eight and 15 former Crimson Tiders will be selected in the Draft’s seven rounds. The Crimson Tide record for players in one NFL Draft is 10.

Based on last year’s performance, Charlie Campbell is the best source for Mock Drafts. Also, it is always wise to check the opinions of SI‘s Peter King and the NFL Network‘s Mike Mayock. King and Mayock mostly concentrate on the early rounds. Campbell is currently projecting through Round Five.

Using Campbell and a few other mocks for the later rounds, let’s look at 15 former Tide players in the upcoming NFL Draft.
