Kalen DeBoer has Alabama on an incredible roll on the recruiting trail. The Crimson Tide entered the month of June with just five total commitments, and there was plenty of anxiety from the fanbase as a result.

Flash forward one month, Alabama is up to 17 commitments in the 2026 class and is now ranked No. 6 in the industry recruiting rankings. In the last six days alone, Alabama has landed commitments from three 5-stars: RB Ezavier Crowell, LB Xavier Griffin, and now WR Cederian Morgan, who is the latest blue-chip to commit to the Tide as he announced his commitment on Wednesday.

Morgan is the latest, but won't be the last. Not even this week. Alabama is widely expected to land 5-star safety Jireh Edwards on Saturday, which, joining the three above and CB Jorden Edmonds would give the Crimson Tide five 5-stars in this class alone, with the potential to add a sixth down the road in EDGE Anthony 'Tank' Jones.

The recent run on the trail by DeBoer and the staff would make even Nick Saban envious.

Morgan's addition produced some great social media reactions from other committed Tide prospects.

5-stars Ezavier Crowell and Xavier Griffin among those celebrating Cederian Morgan's Alabama commitment

The two most recent 5-star additions for Alabama prior to Morgan showed their excitement on social media on Wednesday following Morgan's announcement.

Crowell and Morgan are two of the top three players in the state of Alabama in the 2026 cycle. You can bet that those two will now be working on Tank Jones to try and convince him to join the party. Jones doesn't have a date set, but most industry insiders are expecting a commitment from him in July or August, before the start of his senior season.

Griffin is foreshadowing another major commitment coming for Alabama, most likely the expected addition of a fellow 5-star defender, S Jireh Edwards. It could also be in reference to 4-star DL Nolan Wilson, who will announce his decision on Friday and has been trending toward the Crimson Tide.

Gibson was Alabama's first commitment in the 2026 class, pledging to the Tide on Christmas Eve. He recently announced that his recruitment was shut down.

Tuscaloosa native Zay Hall joined Alabama's class last Friday and might be one of the more underrated players in the Tide's class.

Mhari Johnson is another in-state pledge for DeBoer and the Tide in this class. This staff made locking down the state a major priority, and are now one commitment away from completely dominating Hugh Freeze and Auburn in the state this cycle.
