Donovan Murph - Wide Receiver

The Irmo, South Carolina receiver picked up an offer from the new coaching staff on March 4th making him one of the names to watch under the new regime. The talented receiver was in town at the start of the month meeting Jalen Milroe, Kalen DeBoer, and most of the coaching staff. Jatavis Sanders will be an asset in recruiting Murph with his experience recruiting the area while at NC State.

Tyler Merrill - Offensive Line

As one of the top offensive linemen in the 2026 recruiting class, Merrill holds an impressive list of offers from schools like Alabama, Michigan, Penn State, and Ohio State among others. The Pennsylvania native is the second-ranked player in his state, the second-ranked interior lineman, and the 53rd-ranked player in the country. The talented lineman will visit Alabama on March 23rd.

Anthony Jones - Linebacker

The top player in the state of Alabama will be one of the most sought-after recruits in the 2026 recruiting class by the new staff. Nearly a week after being hired Kalen DeBoer and Kane Wommack visited St. Paul's Episcopal to continue the relationship the Saban staff built. Jones has the speed, size, and ability to be a star at the college level and should be one of the top priorities for DeBoer's staff.

Bryce Perry-Wright - Defensive Line

One of the top defensive line recruits in the class Bryce Perry-Wright is coming out of Buford High School where the Alabama Football program landed Caleb Downs. The top defensive lineman has been in contact with the new staff visiting Tuscaloosa for Junior Day as well as visiting on the first true recruiting weekend of the spring. Perry-Wright is currently ranked as the sixth defensive lineman in the class and the 39th player overall. He'll likely be a big riser in the recruiting class.
