Alabama Football lures in four-star Offensive Tackle Micah DeBose eyeing top OL Class
The Alabama Football team has dominated the summer of recruiting as they've reeled in multiple commitments each weekend. This weekend the Alabama Football team has already landed a commitment from in-state offensive tackle Micah DeBose. The Vigor star is a four-star recruit according to On3 ranked as the 159th best player in the country and the 11th ranked interior offensive lineman.
Early on DeBose was committed to the Georgia Bulldogs before de-committing. It then looked like LSU's race to lose but, Kalen DeBoer and his staff emerged late and got DeBose to commit while on his official visit this weekend.
According to On3, Alabama now holds commitments from four of the top ten players in the state of Alabama.
The Alabama Football team is now looking at landing the Nation's top offensive line class. The Tide have received commitments from DeBose the Nation's 11th-ranked guard, Michael Carroll the nation's second-ranked guard, Jackson Lloyd the Nation's 6th-ranked offensive tackle, and Mal Waldrep the Nation's 39th-ranked interior offensive lineman. All eyes are now on five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood the Nation's eight-ranked player overall. The Tide have emerged as the front-runner for Haywood who grew up an Alabama fan receiving multiple crystal ball predictions from recruiting outlets. The group will be responsible for protecting four-star quarterback commit Keelon Russell who committed this summer.
What a Summer it's been for Alabama Football
This summer has been filled with massive recruiting wins for both the Alabama Football Program and Kalen DeBoer. The Tide have landed eight commitments in the 2025 recruiting class and two commitments in the 2026 recruiting class. Alabama is also in a great position with several top-100 prospects including five-star cornerback Dijon Lee who's on campus this weekend, top-100 linebacker Dawson Merritt who visited earlier this summer, and the top linebacker in the class Ty Jackson who is on campus this weekend. The Tide have easily been the winner of the summer and Kalen DeBoer has quickly shut down the chatter about his inability to recruit.
