Official visit season continues this weekend across college football, and Alabama is once again set to welcome another group of talented blue-chip prospects to Tuscaloosa. As Kalen DeBoer and his staff continue building momentum in the 2027 cycle, these next 72 hours present another opportunity to strengthen relationships, create separation from competing teams, and position the Crimson Tide for future commitments.

While most of the attention will be centered around five-star quarterback commit Elijah Haven—and rightfully so—this weekend’s true value lies in how Alabama continues to surround him with elite talent and reinforce the long-term vision of the program. Beyond Haven’s headline name, DeBoer has a handful of priority targets who could quietly evaluate the foundation of the Tide’s class, which currently sits No. 47 nationally. With that in mind, here are three intriguing 2027 prospects Alabama will host on official visits this weekend.

Michael Nnabuife—3-Star TE, Saint Francis Academy (Syracuse Commit)

After losing out on the services of four-star tight end commit Colt Lumpris following his recent flip to Michigan, Alabama’s staff has quickly shifted focus toward reloading the board at the position. One name firmly in play is Francis Academy three-star tight end Michael Nnabuife.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Syracuse commit has been committed to the Orange since May 20, but his continued interest in visiting Alabama signals that his recruitment is far from settled. The Crimson Tide are actively working to flip the Maryland native, and there's already a built-in advantage working in their favor. Nnabuife shares a strong connection with former high school teammate and five-star true freshman safety Jireh Edwards, which could help Alabama's push.

For DeBoer and new tight ends coach Richard Owens, the ramped-up pursuit of Nnabuife gives Alabama the chance to reestablish momentum at the position and potentially pair him with the recently committed Liverpool native Oakley Keegan to strengthen the foundation of the 2027 TE group and add another dynamic piece to the room.

Majay Thompson—3-Star WR, Crest High School

Another intriguing visitor coming to Tuscaloosa this weekend is three-star Crest High School wide receiver Majay Thompson. Thompson is urgent on the minds of Alabama's staff after originally scheduling a visit for June 12 before pushing it up, following his previous trip to the University of Georgia last month.

At 6 feet, 186 pounds, Thomas brings legitimate 4.4 speed and production to match, reeling in 53 receptions for 865 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2025. That blend of explosiveness and output has kept him firmly on the board for the Crimson Tide, even in the midst of their pursuit of five-star wideout Monshun Sales and four-star Osani Gayles. And with Alabama wide receivers coach Derrick Nix remaining heavily involved in Thompson's recruitment, this could be a nice consolation prize if the Tide cannot land their top two targets.

Luke Cody— Kicker, Lumberton High School

The most underrated recruit on this list comes at a position of need for the future, as Alabama quietly evaluates special teams options. Lumberton High School kicker Luke Cody enters the weekend as one of the top kickers in the nation, boasting a career-long field goal of 54 yards last season.

This elite range makes Cody one of those prospects who fits DeBoer's quality-over-quantity approach for what is expected to be a smaller 2027 recruiting class. And with him being the only specialist Alabama has offered this cycle, his visit this weekend could be straightforward—but still important in securing long-term stability at the position.

All in all, these three visitors in particular underscore Alabama's continued emphasis on balance, upside, and future roster construction. Whether it's flipping a key offensive weapon, climbing higher on an explosive receiver, or solidifying future stability on special teams, each prospect represents a different layer of DeBoer's 2027 blueprint. It'll be interesting to see which relationship takes the next step with the program's staff and potentially commits this summer.
