The Alabama Football program is into an important recruiting stretch as they start to build out their 2025 recruiting class while building relationships with prospects. The coaching staff is off to a good start after hosting Junior Day in February gaining ground in what could be pivotal recruiting battles. The team has been named among the finalists for several of this year's top recruits.

The group landed a major commitment four-star defensive tackle Antonio Coleman who flipped his commitment from Auburn to Alabama. As Kalen DeBoer starts to build his first true recruiting class out early wins will become vital as many of the top players will want to play with other top players.

David Sanders Jr - Offensive Tackle

Alabama was named in the top six of the number one offensive tackle David Sanders Jr's latest list. The five-star tackle is the top player at his position and the second-ranked player overall in the 2025 class.

Kalen DeBoer visited Sanders nearly immediately after receiving the head coaching job at Alabama. Working in DeBoer's favor will also be Jatavis Sanders the team's Director of Recruiting strategy who spent years at NC State and has an extensive history in recruiting in the State of North Carolina.

Landing David Sanders would be a massive win for Kalen DeBoer and his staff, especially at a position as important as offensive tackle. The roster is currently thin at offensive tackle with only four players on scholarship at the position which makes the position one of the top priorities in this recruiting cycle.
